Industrial design is often perceived as being limited to a superficial cosmetic treatment of product design. Although this is often true, this product is an example of how the industrial design was involved in the invention and creation of a completely unique agricultural bio chemical dispenser.

Our patented design was initiated with intensive brainstorming sessions focused on understanding the biochemistry of the system, which was then translated into a mini chemical processing plant within a simple, easy-to-use NEMA compliant watertight enclosure. The operation sequences, environments of use, chemical mixing and dispensing, as well as the selection of all internal components were defined and specified by Integrated Design Systems. Our design was delineated as a compact wall-mounted dispenser with a simple user interface and custom-designed, dual-chambered, disposable reagent bottle, which was visually integrated with the overall product package.
